Delivery Driver

Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30

The successful applicants will be someone who is enthusiastic about work, who is looking for job security, and shares our passion for delivering excellent customer service.

• Deliver a wide variety of Goods and Cargo to different addresses and through.
• Different routes in various Region within Auckland
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Maintain records of deliveries made.
• Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards.
• Handing Job Sheets in timely manner
• Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage.
• Reporting to the Manager/Director
• Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration and WOF of vehicle are up to date.
• Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicles loaded appropriately and the material is recorded correctly.

• Must have Valid New Zealand or International License Equivalent to Class 1 of New Zealand Vehicle Driving Licence.
• Must Pass Drug Test
• Must be able work from Monday to Friday with 6.30 am in the morning start everyday (Sometimes Saturday and Public Holiday)
• Must not have any prior serious driving conviction.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Have a clear criminal record.
• Physically Fit able to lift up to 30 kg manually whenever required.
