Warehouse Operator
Logistics Operator – Rolleston
We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Operator to join a growing warehouse team in Rolleston. This is a Monday to Friday role (8:00am to 4:30pm) in a modern facility that has been operating just under two years, known for its tidy, well-organised layout and welcoming team culture.
About the role:You’ll be involved in all key warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and dispatch. The role also includes container unloading, system updates, damage reporting, and general admin to support smooth cargo flow. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external customers while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling, checking, storing, and dispatching cargo
- Receipting, picking, packing, and putaway
- Unloading and unpacking containers
- Completing system tasks (claims, damage reports, folio checks, filing)
- Labelling, scan-packing, and inbound processing
- Ensuring freight is correctly marked and documented
- Releasing cargo with compliant paperwork
- Replenishments and general warehouse duties
- Maintaining security and Health & Safety requirements
- Supporting wider branch tasks and projects as needed
What we are looking for:
- Proven warehouse/logistics experience
- Must have proven experience operating a reach truck
- A current reach truck licence is essential
- A current forklift licence (heavy vehicle an advantage)
- Comfortable working with high stacking (up to 6m) and mixed freight
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Able to pick up warehouse systems and processes quickly
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
