We're looking for a Principal Adviser to join the Water Regulation Team in our Infrastructure Regulation branch.

This is a permanent opportunity based in either our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Whanganui
  • a-Tara (Wellington) office.

Mō te tūnga | About the roleAs a Principal Adviser, you'll provide strategic and technical leadership, helping shape the design and delivery of our role in the Local Water Done Well (LWDW) regime.

You'll work closely with the Head of Water, and engage with ministries, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure robust frameworks are in place and credible advice is given.This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of water regulation in New Zealand.

In addition to leading complex projects, you'll be willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute to delivery yourself.The indicative salary range for this role is $160,490
  • $188,812 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.
