Qualified Pharmacy Technician

With a focus on patient care and health education, we strive to support our customers in their health journeys. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
**Position Overview:**
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing outstanding customer service. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about healthcare and committed to helping our patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and offering advice on over-the-counter medications.
- Maintain medication and inventory records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage stock levels and order new supplies as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Participate in health promotion and community health initiatives.
- A relevant qualification in Pharmacy Technician Level 4 or 5 (or nearly qualified).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is desirable, but not essential.
- Interest in training to become a Health workforce Vaccinator.
- Interest in participating and driving Public Health initiatives, for example; Hepatitis C screening, Cardiaction, gout awareness, Vaccination campaigns.
- Interest in wound care and in developing these skills.
