About the Role

As a Supervisor within our Supply Chain team, you'll lead a team responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within our hospital warehouses.

You'll oversee daily operations, ensure accurate processing in our ERP system, manage returns, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards. This role also involves supporting supply chain initiatives and deputising for the Team Leader when required.

The PSCHTM (Procurement, Supply Chain and Health Technology Management) team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora are a national function with a vast and complex scope. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system.

About you

You enjoy motivating and guiding others to achieve operational excellence and take pride in creating a safe, efficient, and collaborative workplace. You're highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You'll be confident using ERP systems and have a strong understanding of warehouse processes, from receiving and storing goods to managing returns and resolving discrepancies. You're proactive in problem-solving, quick to adapt to change, and committed to continuous improvement.

You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.

You will bring:

• NCEA Level 1 (essential)
• 5+ years' experience in general warehousing and ERP systems
• Previous supervisory experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to lead a team and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
