They assist patients with questionnaires, update contact details, follow up on missed appointments, manage communications, maintain supplies, and prepare for upcoming visits. Their role is vital in ensuring efficient clinic operations, delivering quality rheumatology care, and providing a positive patient experience.About the Team/Service Location The Wellington Regional Rheumatology Unit is a regional service based at Hutt Hospital, with clinics across the sub-region at Hutt, Wellington, Kenepuru Hospitals, and Greytown.

The HCA plays a vital role in our weekly clinics, with Hutt Hospital as their base. The service operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.About you Previous experience in the health care - outpatient setting desirableAbility to deal with sickness and distressing medical situationsDelivering an exemplary standard of careInnovation and critical thinkingGood communication skills Health Assistance Level 3 or equivalent or prepared to complete within specified timeframes Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
