The organisation employs a team of 30, with quarries and depots in the Bay of Islands, Whangarei, Dargaville, Wellsford and Te Kauwhata.

And the journey continues.

We are now looking for another enthusiastic person to join our small team at our Te Kauwhata Fertiliser Store in North Waikato. This position will report to the Fertiliser Store Manager and core responsibilities will include:

Accurate measuring of fertiliser materials during the manufacturing and packaging phases of production.
Safe & efficient loading, unloading and movement of product within our site while meeting both company and customer requirements.
Assisting in machinery and general site maintenance
Adhering to all company Health & Safety and operational procedures
Working cohesively in a small production team to complete all required orders in an effective and efficient manner.
General housekeeping and heavy machinery cleaning.

You will need to have the following required skills and experience:

Full Licence
Forklift licence
Loader experience – ability to operate a wheel loader in tight spaces
Good judgement of weights, heights and distances and know limitations of machinery
Someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and get along well with others.
Self-motivated and can work on their own without direct supervision Willingness to work seasonally long hours
Heavy lifting – manual labour
Mathematical & literacy competence
Customer service focused – good communication skills
Attention to detail and quality focused
Positive attitude
