Full Time - builder/Hammer Hand

We’re a well-established shed company specializing in steel structures – and We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter or a hammer hand!

• Carry out a wide range of construction tasks including framing, foundation work, structural steel works, and general carpentry.
• cladding, roofing & flashing Experience is a MUST
• Eye for details
• Assist with managing tools, equipment, and material deliveries on site.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Great Time Management
• Cleanup & tidy Up during work and after work.

• Listens to instructions given

Full-time role, approximately 40+ hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility depending on project demands.

We travel between multiple sites – out of town as we cover South Canterbury – Otago

• Full NZ driver’s license required.
• Own basic tools and transport to the yard. ( depending on your location, this may not apply)

• Competitive pay rate dependent on skill level
• 3 weeks time off over Christmas
• Sick leave after 6 months
• No weekend work – keep your weekends free
• Mostly home each night, with some stay aways depending on location and where the job is sitting time frame wise.
