We’re looking for a finance, payroll & internal audit administrator to join our friendly team. This is a great fit for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented who enjoys working with processes that keep things running smoothly. You’ll be supported as you get up to speed in your new team and role, learning something different and exploring an opportunity for skill set development.We’re offering a competitive remuneration package for this 40-hour-a-week role.

- Minimum of five years experience across financial, payroll and internal audit functions
- To be skilled in using Google Suite - Intermediate level (Microsoft use not relevant)
- University degree qualification relevant to the role
- In-depth knowledge and experience of monthly financial reporting processes
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of statutory and payroll requirements including relevant NZ Law & Acts
- Experience working in a diverse commercial environment
As one of our Finance, Payroll & Internal Audit Administrators you’ll be part of a team of linchpins who keep our operations running smoothly. Your role will be diverse and engaging, including:
- Monthly Financial Report Preparation & Review
- Payroll Preparation
- Internal Audit and Financial Controls Review
- Asset Management
- Update and maintain records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Provide guidance and support training as needed, helping to achieve desired business outcomes
- Unquestionably Detail-Oriented Dynamo with an eagle eye for details, and who is motivated by accuracy
- Software Savvy Professional who is proficient in Google Suite, Simpro, Infusion & MYOB proficiency
- Forward-Thinking approach to payroll, with the ability to envision broader perspectives and drive continuous improvement
- Problem-Solving Extraordinaire who is able to tackle challenges with a positive attitude and creative thinking
- Effective Communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills and with a knack for building relationships
- A Task Juggling Guru who can independently prioritise tasks comfortably
Group Support is a rapidly growing group of administrative extraordinaires. We provide accounting, financial, systems, communications, HR and recruitment assistance to a number of nationwide leading brands including Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, ICE Electrical, Rivet Fabricate Ltd and EcoChill.
Our team of 40+ is focused on ensuring an efficient process delivered by a team of highly skilled specialists. We deliver all of this and more from our admin hub, based in Hawera, Taranaki.
