We have a very strong focus on health and safety for you, our team and our customers. You will be handling dangerous goods, so attention to detail and commitment to health and safety is critical.
About the role:
We are hiring a person to work on our Tauranga yard, filling and preparing LPG cylinders on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for decanting, preparing and filling LPG gas bottles for customers and to prepare them for testing. There may be a small amount of truck driving and forklift work required. Having a class 2 license with D and F endorsement would be helpful.This role is Monday to Saturday. (We are not yet open on Saturdays but that will come)
Customer service is part of the job - you might need to answer questions or provide solutions on the yard. We will provide you with plenty of training and support so you can offer our customers accurate information.
About you:
- At least one year Class 2 driving experience would be ideal but a clean license is a must
- At least two years fork lift operator experience
- Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
- Current Dangerous Goods endorsement or be willing to undergo training for one
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items when handling cylinders
- Flexibility and adaptability with a customer service focus
- LPG filling experience would be nice, but we can train you in this so it is not essential
- Cylinder testing experience would also be nice, but not essential
