Log Truck Driver

Stuart Drummond Transport operates a modern fleet of log trucks in the Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast regions. We have a full-time position available for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our dedicated team. This role guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday work depending on workload.

• Safe and efficient driving of modern log trucks.
• Operating additional equipment, including loaders, wheel loaders, and diggers, as required.
• Maintaining and servicing vehicles, including defect reporting.
• Adhering to company systems and safety protocols.
• Participating in ongoing training, including Log Transport Safety Council (LTSC) certification pathways

• Class 5 license
• Experience with truck and trailer combinations
• Experience with Wheel Loaders and Diggers
• W, T, R Endorsement
• Passion for driving trucks
• Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge
• Strong work ethic
• Physically fit
• Honest, reliable, and punctual
• Ability to listen and follow instructions

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

• New Zealand residency or a current New Zealand work visa.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
• Applicants must have no prior criminal conviction
