- s clinical trialsfrom set-up to close-out and provide quality nursing care to haematologypatients participating in those clinical trials.About the ServiceThe primary objective of the Haematologyclinical trials (research) programme is to comply with all internationalregulatory guidelines, while clearly following protocol specified schedules.
Weaim to improve the standards of care offered to our patients by participatingin well-designed clinical trials which can offer access to innovativetreatments not normally available within New Zealand.Aboutyou To be successful in this position, you willhave expert nursing knowledge with extensive clinical experience.
Previousexperience in all aspects of haematology would be a distinct advantage.Youwill demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and work alongside a widerange of people at both professional and personal level.
The ability to workeffectively with colleagues, and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamare imperative to this role.Previous experience and a background andunderstanding in clinical research would be an advantage.
You will be able todemonstrate meticulous organisation skills, and excellent attention to detail.Knowledge of data management principals will be beneficial.
You will practicein a professional manner, adhering to the regulations governing clinical andresearch practice to work within research protocols and guidelines.Your personal skills will include having agood work-ethic, being reliable and self-motivated with working independently.You will have the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-faceted team.You will be able to prioritise your own workload daily.
You will possesscritical-thinking skills to be able to undertake expert patient assessment,planning and interventions as required, as an integral part of the clinicalresearch team.Haematology experienceExperience in clinical research, coordination and clinical trialsProficient computer skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage wellExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasksYou will have effective problem solving and decision-making skills Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
