We need 3 permanent Wait Staff to join our team.
You will need to :- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Ensure the Guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
- Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
- Take orders and communicate them to the kitchen
- Bring and serve food and beverages to customers
- Clean tables or counters after customers have finished dining
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
- Collect payments and operates cash registers and ensure to follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Ensure the restaurant is clean and safe
- Ability to multi task and work well in a busy environment.
- Presentable & Good personal hygiene.
- Must be honest and reliable.
- Must have a positive and professional attitude.
- Enthusiastic, service focused and passionate about what you do.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Filipino cuisine and Tagalog language will be an advantage.
Your Job Mainly Would be welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition, memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
Successful candidates should have either relevant NZ Register Level 2 or 3 qualification OR have minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Should be able to work minimum 32 hours per week.pay will be $25-$32 per hour depending on experience.
