Contracts Supervisor (Kaitaia Region)
Join our Professional Team in Northland (Far North) if you have experience in a team leader role and wanting to step up to the next level, or in a Supervisory role, this is the job for you.
The Opportunity: 30+ hours/week, permanent Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
You will be supervising a team of up to 15+. Managing your time effectively and efficiently is a STRONG attribute for this position, to ensure the job gets done the right way at the right time.
We require an individual who is flexible to work extra hours when required and could be weekends within or outside your specific area of responsibility as this is required to meet the business needs.
This role is full of variety, supervise, train and manage frontline staff and tasks, visiting clients, you'll be completing site inductions, coordinate relief cleaners, cover sites when required, evaluate and report performance of team members, conduct Health and Safety meetings, train your team, accident reporting, quality assurance, periodic work as required, and you will check for hazards and keep the work environment safe.Some heavy lifting is required with this position.
You will report to the Branch Manager

- Ability to train to a very high standard
- Knowledge of applicable cleaning methods, materials and equipment and related safety guidelines, although full training will be provided
- Willingness to learn and improve skill both in cleaning and supervising
- Great communication skills with both verbal and written
- Enjoy interacting with people - both clients and staff
- An eye for detail - Quality assurance
- Health and Safety focused
- Experience in the cleaning industry, including specialist cleaning tasks (will be hands on for all cleaning tasks as required), with proven leadership ability ALTHOUGH full training will be provided

- Full NZ Drivers licence - Company vehicle provided for work purposes only and Mobile Phone
- Must be able to pass all security checks, MOJ, NZ Police, and other clients security requirements.
