Are you a detail-oriented and organised professional with a knack for keeping projects running smoothly? Tracks is looking for a Projects Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis.
Based in Whakatane, we are a well-established civil construction company with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality work across earthworks, demolition, concrete works, retaining walls, and civil infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Projects Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our project and operations teams by ensuring accurate documentation, efficient coordination, and clear communication across all phases of our civil construction projects.
This is a fixed-term role (minimum of 6 months, 30 hours minimum per week), ideal for someone with a background in construction or administration who is looking for flexibility and a dynamic work environment. An immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Site Supervisors
- Develop and submit tenders
- Help prepare and submit quality assurance, compliance documentation, and reports
- Maintain and update project documentation, records, and registers
- Assist with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members to support project delivery
- Submit claims / invoices for approval
- Support general office duties when required
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within construction or a related industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MYOB and confidence learning new systems
- A proactive attitude and team player mindset
