Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Company:

This commercial constructor has a promising workload ahead of them and are now looking to onboard an additional QS at senior level.

They have a commercial build expansion programme underway working with a key developer client looking to press go. The team is small, and you will be given the independence and autonomy to run the financials of the projects.

Role:

A self-managing senior quantity surveyor role who will be involved in the following:

• Measurement and pricing of cost estimates
• Managing costs throughout construction in regular liaison with the project manager
• Preparing external claims and processing variations
• Subcontractor account management, contract administration, final account preparation, reporting and cost reconciliation

Preference will be given to those who have:

• At least 10+ years experience working in a main contractor worked on a range of new build commercial projects in a hands on SQS role with proven success in effectively managing costs and margins
• Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
• Broad experience in Contract Administration and Estimating functions, experience working with Developer clients would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants and client.

Remuneration: $150K - $175K pending experience.
