You will also ensure that the administration needs of the service are met and delivered professionally and effectively.In return you will have the opportunity to work within a team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focused environment for whaiora and whānau.This is a full-time, fixed term role covering a period of parental leave until March 2026.About the Team/Service/LocationTūmanako is a 29-bed purpose-built unit that cares for adults over the age of 18 who live in the Northland area.
We have a multidisciplinary team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focused environment for our tūroro. We are also committed to quality improvement, staff wellbeing and working collaboratively across services.For more information on living and working in Northland click hereAbout youOur ideal candidates will have:A background in administration with proven skills including medical typingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working within a clinical environment (with experience in Mental Health and/or Addictios being highly advantageous)The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesAn understanding of working in a multidisciplinary teamAn ability to work bi-culturally and effectively engage with Maori.Additionally, you will be committed to building effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including whaiora and whānau.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
