The Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual to lead our fantastic cleaning team at a client school site in Kerikeri. This hands-on role focuses on daily onsite operations, team support, and ensuring we meet our client's needs consistently.

Work is carried out after school hours, Monday to Friday.

Total hours: 20 hours per week, plus additional hours as required during term breaks and when covering team members.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the onsite cleaning team and supporting daily operations
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the client and team
  • Ensuring high cleaning standards and service delivery
  • Upholding all health and safety requirements
  • Completing hands-on cleaning tasks, including periodic and term break work
  • Coordinating team schedules during term break cleaning
  • Assisting with onsite coverage when staff are away
  • Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager and Contract Supervisor
About You
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable leading a small team
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of the site
  • Previous supervisory experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Willing to learn—full training is provided
  • Committed to quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Able to pass a full Police and MOJ check

This role is subject to pre-employment checks and may require a clean criminal record. Final appointment is contingent on satisfactory results.
