Contact Centre Team Leader
We are looking for a confident and capable Contact Centre Team Leader to guide, manage and motivate our contact center team. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations, high-quality customer interactions, and continuous staff development.
Our in-house contact center is the hub for all of our customer engagement—handling inbound, outbound calls and promotions, B2B/B2C customer support across New Zealand, Sri Lanka, India, Philippines and Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily activities of the contact center team.
Support both inbound and outbound call campaigns for product and service promotions.
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate when necessary.
Monitor team performance and implement improvements where needed.
Foster a team-oriented culture focused on achieving performance targets.
Work closely with management to align goals and strategies.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts efficiently.
Experience using CRM systems and contact center tools.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:Minimum: Bachelor’s degree holder or 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Xero accounting software) and other relevant software applications.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Hourly Rate: NZD $35 - $45 per hour, this is based on experience or qualifications. Estimated actual earnings per year range from $63,960 to $85,280 before PAYE.
- Work Schedule Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Workdays: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (occasional weekend work may be required when it is come to shipment cut-off dates)

- Number of Positions One (1) position available.
- Job Location Primary Location: Mount Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand Travel may be required within New Zealand to meet clients and attend business events.
