Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is a large family-owned Canterbury business with offices in Timaru, Ashburton, Waimate and Christchurch. We have been around for over 45 years and have become a trusted, progressive brand in the civil construction industry.

We are currently recruiting for permanent roles to join our Timaru Workshop team to repair and maintain and fast-growing fleet of Tractors and harvesting equipment.

Due to our current staffing needs, we are looking for:

• A Skilled Diesel Mechanic with a knowledge of Tractor and agricultural plant repairs. The fleet is primarily John Deere tractors and Claas harvesters.
• Self-starters who turnup on time, work alone and identify preventative maintenance.
• Individuals who compliment an existing competent team of mechanics.
• Mechanics with up-to-date mechanical knowledge with their own modern tools.
