About the RoleWe have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our Te Waipounamu regional team as a Community & Whānau Wellbeing Team Lead Nelson MarlboroughThe primary purpose of the role is team management, delivery, performance, and development with our team of health promotion advisors.
It involves operational leadership, resource utilisation, and coordinating programme planning, delivery, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and reporting across various programme areas. The people and performance responsibilities of the role work in collaboration with the technical and professional responsibilities of other regional and local roles such as Chief Regional Health Promotion Advisor, Regional Health Promotion Development and Delivery Lead, and relevant professional leadership roles.The Team Lead role may also deliver operational work and have responsibility for work programmes relevant to their professional skill set depending on the size of the team they are responsible for.About the ServiceThe National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
