Senior Kaiawhina / Caregiver
Kenwyn Rest Home & Hospital is family run business with a great team who provide care in a fun and relaxed environment. We provide specialised care for our residents here and so we need a special kind of person to join them.
We are located in beautiful Te Aroha and need a senior kaiawhina / caregiver to join our team to work across all levels of care in our home. You will be knowledgeable and experienced in assisting elderly residents with all aspects of daily living and particular knowledge of working with Dementia residents is required.A level 4 qualification or higher is needed including dementia LCP modules. This role will also be required to be able to become medication competent.
You will need to be able to work for at least 30 hours per week and be flexible across shifts. Work may be with Rest Home & Hospital level resident or in Aroha House our secure dementia unit. The pay rate will be determined by your qualifications ranging from $28.25 - $30.
