Retail Assistant

Five River Trading Limited is looking for keen, motivated, reliable workers for Full time Retail Assistant roles.

We have a Full time positions available approximately 30+ hours/week available

Job Description:

determining customer requirements and advising on product range, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care; demonstrating and explaining to customers the establishment's goods and services; selling food, beverages, clothing, footwear and other personal and household goods and services; accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices; assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stocktakes; stacking and displaying goods for sale, and wrapping and packing goods sold;

Suitable applicants must be reliable and capable of serving our lovely customers, consistently working at a fast pace, moving heavy boxes, cleaning, restocking shelves along with other duties.

The ideal applicant will display/have:

a happy disposition with excellent communication skills, high presentation standards, accuracy, thoroughness and completion of their work, flexibility with working hours and days with the ability to work weekends and evenings and one night fill shift, honesty, an excellent work ethic and a desire to learn, happy to do whatever it takes to provide the best service we can to our customers.

Experience in Grocery would be ideal but not mandatory.

Candidate must: Be physically fit to pick up load (up to 25 Kg)
