Job Requirements:We are looking for reliable and self-motivated individuals who possesses strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be able to work autonomously, manage tasks effectively, and maintain a strong focus on health and safety. You will be punctual, professional, and have excellent time management. In addition, we require the following:
- Experience in professional waterblasting and commercial building washing ideal
- Clean criminal background
- Full driver licence (NZ Class 1 or equivalent International Class) essential
- Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licences ideal
- Ability to communicate clearly with teammates, supervisor and clients
- Ability to work autonomously, own your task list and work unsupervised
- The ability to work collaboratively
- Reliable, honest and self-motivated
- A strong health and safety focus at all times
- Punctuality, excellent time management and professionalism
Key tasks and responsibilities
Every day will vary as you get out and about around Bay of Plenty completing jobs allocated to you by our Senior Operations Coordinator. These jobs will require you to work at heights, executing intricate building washing procedures on various surfaces like glass, concrete, metal facades, and cladding.You will be using advanced methods like rope access or Elevated Work Platforms (EWP). You will be required to waterblast small to large buildings, car parks, roofs, sidewalks and other surfaces, utilising equipment like ladders, scaffolding, and cherry pickers & boom lifts.
You will also be responsible for facility inspections, equipment maintenance, routine maintenance & repairs, hazard mitigation (e.g., moss removal), requiring daily safety documentation (SWMS, Toolbox Talks, Rescue Plans & Reports), onsite fall protection/rescue training, and client liaison.
Operationally, the role requires schedule management via FieldApp or liaison with the Senior Operations Coordinator, job documentation (photos), equipment maintenance, and adherence to company procedures and regulations (including but not limited to Health and Safety).
