Senior Manager, Audit Services Te tūranga

  • The role As the Senior Manager, Audit Services you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the RBNZ Internal Audit function.

You will oversee internal audit activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

You will;Develop and deliver on the RBNZ's internal audit strategy and work programme and Internal Audit plan reporting through to the Board Audit Sub-committee.
Provide strategic insights that contribute to the ongoing improvement and innovation of audit practices, procedures and methodologies.
Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, control environment and risk management across the breadth of RBNZ activities.
Lead the delivery of group and cross functional strategies, activities, initiatives and programmes/projects working closely with first- and second-line risk functions.
Lead the team responsible for delivery of the Internal Audit plan, including managing co-source arrangements.Ō pūkenga
  • About youYou will be both adaptable and strategic in your thinking and are able to lead both functionally and strategically to ensure shared success.
In addition to this you will;Have demonstrable experience developing internal audit strategies and leading teams responsible for delivery of complex work programmes Have demonstrable people leadership experience in Audit Possess relationship management experience to build, develop and maintain relationships with both your team and stakeholders Be CA qualified (or equivalent) Strong communication skills, with a collaborative style and an ability to be objective with setting workplans and priorities.Ko wai matou
