This is a key frontline leadership role within Health NZ Tairawhiti and is responsible for the operational management and leadership of the Outpatient department, enabling the provision of safe, high quality care.As the Clinical Nurse Manager for Outpatients, your focus will be ensuring that our people experience a service that promotes positive health outcomes and enables them to live well, within their whanau and community.

Collaborating with other services and departments comes naturally to meet the demands of our community, grow our staff, and provide effective and efficient services.For more information on living and working in Gisborne click hereAbout youAs Clinical Nurse Manager, you will have highly developed clinical and leadership skills while continuing to find opportunities to grow yourself, your service and those around you.The successful applicant will have:Qualifications· Registered Nurse with current NZ APC · NZQA Postgraduate Diploma (or equivalent)· Working toward appropriate NZQA Masters· PDRP – Expert or Designated Senior Nurse levelExperience· Minimum of 5-years recent health experience with leadership responsibilities, e.g. shift leadership, coordination or CNM experience· Experience in service development or quality improvement· Experience in workforce and professional development· Working within a complex health environment·Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
