Digger Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable digger driver to join our team. This role involves operating excavators and heavy machinery for a variety of earthmoving and construction tasks. A valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s license is essential, as you will also be required to transport machinery and materials to and from job sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate diggers and other machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment
- Drive and transport machinery and materials using Class 4 or 5 vehicles
- Assist with general site work when required
- Follow all health and safety protocols on site
- Proven experience operating diggers (1.5 to 20+ tonne)
- Valid Class 4 or 5 NZ driver’s license
- WTR endorsements (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers) preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and reliable
