Delivery Driver – Christchurch
We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our Christchurch team. If you take pride in punctuality, enjoy being on the road, and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely and efficiently deliver goods across the Christchurch areaMaintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks
Report any vehicle issues or incidents
Assist with loading/unloading where required
Support other drivers as and when required
REQUIREMENTS
Clean driving recordPass pre-employment drug testing and be able to provide one as required
Clean criminal history
Legal right to work in New Zealand
Local knowledge of Christchurch and surrounding suburbs (strong advantage)
Positive attitude with a willingness to follow directions, work collaboratively, and show initiative.
JOB SPECIFICS
Employment type: Full-time (with potential for part-time or casual based on experience)Hours of work: approx. 40 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends and early mornings.
Pay range: is based on the level of demonstrated expertise and experience
Start date: Immediate
Note: We offer a flexible employment pathway. New team members may start on a casual basis for an initial 3-month period, allowing both parties to assess fit and performance. Following this, there is potential to transition into a full-time role based on demonstrated reliability and team compatibility.
A company vehicle is provided to perform duties.Must hold a valid New Zealand license
A D endorsement is not necessary, but it is an added bonus.
Responsible for basic vehicle care (fuel, basic maintenance such as tire pressure/fluid check, clean mirrors, etc.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to show the ability to lift and carry up to 30 kg in a safe manner
Be comfortable spending extended periods driving and, on your feet
Able to work in varying weather conditions
