About the role: Fixed-Term Parental Leave Cover (until March 2027)

We are looking for Connections Co-ordinator to join the team on a fixed-term basis covering parental leave for 8 months until March 2027.

In this role, you'll provide vital administrative, coordination and data support to Northpower Contracting's Design Engineering and Capital Projects teams. Your work will support customer connections, project delivery, invoicing, systems reporting and operational performance across the business.

Key responsibilities: Customer connections & administration
  • Manage invoicing for Northpower Customer Connections, including assessment fees, data logging and capacity checks
  • Complete daily Siebel data extraction for Projects, Connections and Accounts
  • Receivable to support Power BI reporting
  • Manage failed jobs and assist with maintaining accurate job statuses and comments
  • Provide Service Request status support and act as backup to the Connections Team Leader
Data, reporting & systems support
  • Support Projects and Connections teams with Siebel reporting, data extraction and presentations
  • Extract, analyse and validate data from multiple systems
  • Coordinate presentations, meetings and record accurate meeting minutes
Stakeholder support
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to Design Engineers, Project Managers and QS teams
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Operations Managers, Delivery Managers, Team Leaders, HSQE Advisors and Field Technicians
  • Liaise professionally with external stakeholders including utility owners, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, local authorities and the public
Performance & continuous improvement
  • Support delivery of operational, regulatory and customer performance requirements
  • Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
  • Contribute to business process and end-to-end (E2E) improvements
Health, safety & compliance
  • Model safe work practices and promote HSQE standards
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes of practice and organisational requirements
  • Care for Northpower equipment, property and PPE
About you:

You are organised, analytical and confident managing multiple priorities. You enjoy supporting teams and take pride in delivering accurate, reliable work in a deadline-driven environment.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a coordinator, business support or administration role (or similar)
  • Strong customer-handling experience, triage of queries, and data administration capability
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Experience in infrastructure, engineering or electricity-related industries (highly advantageous)
