CNC Roller Operator – Afternoon Shift

We’re now looking for an experienced CNC Roller Operator to join our team on the afternoon shift (Monday–Thursday, 4 x 10-hour days). This role involves operating our state-of-the-art hydraulic CNC roller, capable of rolling up to 25mm thick x 3m wide material, supported by large overhead gantries in a modern workshop environment.

• Operating the CNC roller in line with production requirements
• Safely working with large steel plates using gantry cranes and other handling equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications
• Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with standards
• Assisting with other fabrication processes when required
• Following health and safety procedures and contributing to a safe, clean workshop

• Minimum 12 months CNC machinery experience (rolling experience highly regarded)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Team player with a positive, reliable work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable working with heavy steel
• Forklift licence an advantage (not essential)
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid visa)
