The position: This is a permanent position working 78 hours per fortnight
Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8am - 5.05pm

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 8am - 5.05pm

This role specifically requires a Female as specified by the people we support needs, under the Health and Disability Code of Rights, Right 8 and as provided for under Section 27 of the Human Rights Act 1993.

Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles
  • Previous Support Worker experience required
  • The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people
  • Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
  • Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
  • The ability to carry out personal cares including showering and dressing
  • Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
  • A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
