Social Work Services provide 24- hour social workservice 7 days a week with shifts operating across day (0730
- 1600), late (1330
- 2200) and night (2130
Therefore casual applicants need to have availability across these shift patterns.
We provide psychosocial assessment in conjunctionwith a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate the current needs associated with aperson's admission and to provide appropriate support.
We currently have a casual position available towork across the Christchurch combined hospital campus.
Whilst shifts are not guaranteed as a casual employee we do need you to be available across the spectrum of shifts we cover including late and night shifts.
In this role, youwill be responsible for:Psychosocial assessment, monitoring and support of people within the service in accordance with ANZASW Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and the SWRB Core Competency StandardsAttendance and participation in the social work team and staff meetingsProviding cover to our 24hr social work service as required on a rostered basisParticipation in service development and quality assurance initiatives/processesAbout YouThis role will require you to work across a range of different multidisciplinary teams, so being a team player who can adapt will be essential to your success.
