We are seeking a motivated and personable individual to work alongside Allied Health Clinicians across the inpatient settings. The successful applicant will focus on running activity groups on the ward, assisting with patient outings and support nursing staff to provide safe care.View position description.About youTo be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:An outgoing and friendly manner and being comfortable interacting with patients both in person and on the phoneAbility to run groups or communication to audiences and naturally use your initiativePositive team worker and a willingness to learn new skillsGood grounding in basic computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookYou understand and can demonstrate clear boundaries with regards to all aspects of privacyYou will need to be adaptable and flexible allowing you to work effectively with your clients and within a changing health environment.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
