New World Paremata has an exciting Duty Manager opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our community supermarket. We are committed to delivering an excellent customer experience for our community and we are looking for a motivated individual who shares this enthusiasm to join us as a Duty Manager.
This is a full-time role.
Hours: 13:00-21:00, 5 days per week including 1x weekend day.
We also have a part time duty manager role available.
16:00-21:00, 2 days per week including 1x weekend day.
About the role:
- Delight our customers through great customer engagement
- Delivering excellent retail standards
- Leading daily team activities
- Training and developing teams
- Develop business/operational processes
- Uphold store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.
What we are looking for:
- Previous FMCG retail experience preferred.
- Duty managers certificate preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Sound knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Results driven and good attention to detail
