Assistant Store Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Manager to progress their retail career within our Stewart Dawsons Albany store.

This is a hands-on role where you will have responsibility for the daily operation of the store and leadership of the team.

The successful candidate will be a top performer with the ability to lead, motivate and help develop this enthusiastic team.

The role:

• Responsibility for the daily operation of the store
• Leading our small team
• Providing quality sales and customer service, going the extra mile
• Achieve store and personal sales targets through achieving excellence in customer satisfaction
• Contribute and add value to the team by demonstrating a willing "can-do" attitude
• Coach and guide, communicate effectively and contribute to the company's values and culture

About you:

• You will be energetic and enthusiastic - a real "people" person
• You will have an eye and the skill for merchandising
• You will be professionally presented, well-spoken and experienced in staff supervision
• Show an understanding of procedures for handling customer interactions
• Have enthusiasm for building morale, loyalty and pride in the store
• Excellent English language skills
• New Zealand citizenship/residency or current NZ work permit
