The Role
We’re looking for a part-time Retail Health Consultant to join our Pukekohe store.This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be helping people choose the right supplements and natural health products based on their needs.
You don’t need to know everything — but you do need to be interested in health and willing to learn.
Hours
Monday: 10:00am – 4:00pmTuesday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Additional shifts may be available from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and general health queries
- Provide clear, practical advice (no hard selling)
- Process sales using Shopify POS
- Replenish stock and maintain store presentation
- Learn key product ranges and categories over time
- Interest in supplements, natural health, or wellness
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain things simply
- Reliable and consistent (turning up matters)
- Comfortable working independently
- Retail experience is helpful, but not required
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
- Qualifications in natural health, nutrition, herbal medicine, or similar
- Or relevant experience in a health store, pharmacy, or clinic
- Supportive, down-to-earth team
- Staff discounts on a wide range of products
- Ongoing product knowledge and industry exposure
- Stable part-time hours
