About the RoleWe seeking a dedicated and highly organised administrator to join our friendly and supportive Anatomical Pathology Laboratory team.

This role plays a vital part in providing administration support to Pathologists, Scientists and Technicians working onsite in the Histology Laboratory Office at Waikato Hospital.Key responsibilities of the role:General administration tasks for departmentProvide support to MDM Coordinator and clinical meetingsResource planner and data entry for payrollAdministration of department duty rostersStock management, ordering, receipt of goods for the departmentPoint of contact for suppliersAdministration of laboratory reports, case referrals and expert reviewsMonitoring department mailbox, responding to queries and problem solvingMeetings coordination and minute takingAdministration support for recruitment and credentialing Click here to view the position description.

About the ServiceOur team of pathologists, scientists and technicians are supported by a modern, well equipped histology and cytology laboratory. We have access to a wide range of diagnostic stains and techniques. The Waikato Hospital Anatomical Pathology Laboratory processes over 20,000 surgical cases and over 2000 cytology cases per year.
