Position Summary:We are looking for an energetic and self-driven CNC Setter/Operator who has experience with operating CNC Lathes and Mills, preferably using Fanuc Controls/Doosan Machines. We are creating an ever-increasing range of products for our client base so this role will offer a blend of Production and New Product Development.
Initially you will be tasked with the setting/running of our production machines and once you are up to speed, there will be opportunities to prove out new products as well as being involved in Robotics. Essential Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:
- Set up/Operate Bar Feeder/sub spindle/Fanuc Control.
- Organize and maintain quality assurance procedures
- Work with the Factory Manager and Support Team to develop new and exciting products
- Processing Completed Parts
- Excellent File Management Skills
- Understanding of Multi Axes on CNC Lathes/Mills
- Excellent attention to details and listening skills
- Understanding of NC Machine Code
- Experience in repairs and maintenance of CNC machinery
- Tool Setting experience, use of Touch Setting/Renishaw Probes
- CNC Tooling Experience
It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have 3+ years’ experience operating multi-axis CNC Lathes and Mills.
