Working Drainage Foreman

Hick Bros is looking for a Working Drainage Foreman to join our team on the Hawkes Bay based team.

• Minimum 2 years (recent) experience as a drainage foreman or supervisor
• ‘Hands on’ approach
• Current Drainlaying Qualification (Certifying Drainlayer or equivalent preferred)
• Experience with electrofusion, butt fusion and laying PVC and concrete pipes
• Minimum full class 1 licence
• Be able to work full time Monday - Friday 12 hour days & 6-7 hours every Saturday
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

• Willingness to work in the trench, not afraid to get stuck in
• Ability to lead a team and provide direction
• Confidence in reading plans, and liaising with project engineers
• Positive work attitude and a good knowledge base
• Reliable and drug free, high work ethic
• Understand safe work practices pertaining to an earthworks/civils environment
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, operations outside of general duties
