About the RoleAn opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established and progressive team based at the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand. Click here to view the position description. About the Team/ServiceThe successful applicant will join a well-established and dynamic team of 20 Cardiologists and 6 cardiac surgeons. There are 4 cardiac catheterisation labs including a custom-built hybrid lab with technology to perform real time fusion imaging.
The department is a leading national centre for structural heart disease intervention and are developing a pioneering cardiac imaging service across the Te Manawa Taki region. About youCandidates will have completed their advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP or equivalent).We are looking to attract cardiologists with comprehensive training and experience in complex coronary intervention.
Additional experience in CT coronary angiography and echocardiography is desirable.
