Full-Time Accounts Administrator – Warehousing & Logistics

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team in a full-time, non-customer facing role. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and solid experience in managing accounts, creditors, and debtors within an industrial or logistics environment.

  • Location: Tauranga
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Industry: Warehousing & Logistics and Industrial

  • About the Role: As the Accounts Administrator, you’ll support our finance team with end-to-end accounts processes. Your focus will be on maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and producing reports to keep operations running smoothly.
This is a non-customer facing role, ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes and enjoys working independently as part of a supportive team.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable (creditors) and Accounts Receivable (debtors) management
  • Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs
  • Reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts
  • Monitoring overdue accounts and following up on outstanding payments
  • Assisting with monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate records in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
  • Supporting payroll processing and timesheet coordination (if applicable)
  • Preparing BAS, GST, and other compliance documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice or payment queries
  • Assisting with end-of-month and year-end processes
  • Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience in accounts administration, ideally in warehousing, transport, or logistics
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for internal coordination
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
