HVAC Project Manager

A well-established South Auckland-based HVAC company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of air conditioning and ventilation installations across a range of commercial and residential projects.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of each project — managing people, timelines, and quality from start to finish.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for managing HVAC projects from planning through to completion. This includes leading on-site teams, coordinating with builders and subcontractors, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Lead HVAC installation teams and manage daily site operations.
• Coordinate effectively with engineers, builders, and other trades.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to avoid project delays.
• Manage materials, deliveries, and project logistics.
• Monitor budgets, variations, and assist with project claims.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, RFIs, and reports.
• Communicate clearly with clients, management, and subcontractors.

• Proven experience in HVAC project management or site supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Proficient in project coordination and reporting.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.
