In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, primarily diggers, to assist in site preparation and excavation work. Additionally, you will perform general labour tasks to support the overall construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate dozers and other heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Perform tasks such as excavation, and site preparation as directed by the site supervisor.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Be able to read and follow site plans.
• Assist with various labor tasks, including but not limited to digging, shoveling, and manual material handling.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid operator's license or certification.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment with precision.
• Proficiency in basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to safety.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
