Quality Assurance Technician

Experience and/or qualification in quality assurance, knowledge of good manufacturing practices and microbiology/aseptic technique would be an advantage but not essential.

Key Tasks:

• Ensure incoming products, ingredients and packaging documentation follow our strict GMP and natural certification programs
• Daily checking of manufacturing paperwork and follow up on missing data or discrepancies before release
• Organising and maintaining product retention samples
• Weekly microbiology testing of water, ingredient and manufactured products
• Ensure new packaging has been adequately tested and meets approved quality standards before ordering
• Assist with out-of-specification investigations, product complaints and corrective actions.
• Communication with external suppliers
• Assist with hazardous substances records
• Support internal and external audits
• Assist with regulatory & compliance – ensure that products, ingredients and packaging complies with the relevant regulatory standards for different markets

The Person:

• Previous experience in QA would be an advantage
• Computer-savvy, especially with Excel and Word
• Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload
• Reliable, organised, and committed to doing things right
• Previous exposure to a regulated or GMP environment would be an advantage
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Living Nature has a great organisational culture. This role is full time, however hours may be flexible to suit the right person.
