As an Office Administrator in our client’s busy frame & truss factory, you’ll play a key role supporting production, managing jobs and invoicing, and keeping the office side of the operation running efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • General office admin tasks
  • Answering phones and acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers
  • Managing confirmed jobs and quotes inboxes and directing them to the correct team members
  • Logging all confirmed jobs and quotes into the company database
  • Weekly wages administration
  • Health & safety administration, employee inductions, and maintaining training records
  • Xero accounting duties including supplier invoices, customer invoices, and account reconciliations
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager and wider team
  • Maintaining accurate staff and compliance records

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills
  • Proven experience with Xero
  • Self-motivated, organised, and confident
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a trade/manufacturing environment
  • Reliable team player with a positive attitude
  • Must be available to travel to Auckland for 2–3 weeks for training
