Class 2 Delivery Driver
Location: Mount Maunganui, Bay of PlentyStart date: Mid January, with interviews 2nd week of January
Starting rate: $28-$30 per hour (depending on experience, paid weekly on a Tuesday)
We’re looking for a reliable and physically fit Class 2 General Freight Delivery Driver to join our friendly, hardworking team. This is a hands-on role involving local & regional deliveries with curtainside trucks, manual & forklift loading, multi-drop runs & varied days/hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.90 Day trial
Key Responsibilities: Load and unload the truck safely and efficiently
Outstanding customer service and communication skills including a good written & verbal command of English language.Complete local & regional deliveries with safe driving habits
Determine & follow efficient delivery routes and schedules
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
Handle freight manually and assist with yardwork on-site as required
Obtain Proof of delivery with every delivery
Work independently and as a team
What We’re Looking For: Class 2 driver licence
Forklift and Dangerous Goods licencePhysically fit and capable of manual handling
Previous delivery driving experience
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test /Criminal check
