Sign Writer / Installer - Christchurch

We specialise in quality signage and large-scale installs—vehicle graphics, building signage, shopfronts, high-level installs, LED signs and more. This role is all about installing signage safely, professionally, and efficiently. You won’t be stuck at a desk or behind a printer—you’ll be out on-site making things happen.

Shopfitting, building, or similar trades applications are welcomed.

• Installing a wide range of signage—indoors, outdoors, at height, and on vehicles
• Following installation briefs and working to tight timeframes
• Operating hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and access gear
• Representing the Signbiz brand on-site with professionalism
• Problem-solving on the go and keeping the crew and clients updated
• Ensuring all installs are completed safely and to a high standard

• Installation experience – ideally in signage, shopfitting, building, or similar
• Confidence using hand/power tools and working at height
• Full NZ driver’s license (class 1 essential; class 2 a bonus)
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• A strong work ethic and pride in doing things right
• A practical, no-fuss attitude and the ability to think on your feet

• EWP, Site Safe, or Working at Heights tickets (or willing to get them)
• Experience installing large exterior signage, illuminated signs, or digital displays
• Experience applying vinyl graphics or vehicle signage (not essential)
