Logistics Operator
As Logistics Operator at Altitude Brewing, you are responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe movement of our products from brewery to warehouse to customers. Your mission is to support customers, warehouse operations, web store fulfilment, and third-party logistics, ensuring every beer arrives fresh, on time, and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service SupportReceipt and process orders via customer service channels
Work proactively with customers to match needs to current inventory
Warehouse & Inventory SupportAssist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished products
Rotate stock and maintain optimal storage conditions
Assist with monthly stocktake and ensure accurate inventory records
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the warehouse and storage areas
Support the Operations Manager with inventory tracking in Unleashed or other inventory systems
Manage recycling of both owned and leased keg fleet in a timely and efficient manner
Packaging & Fulfilment SupportAssist with packaging, labelling, and preparation of webstore and wholesale orders
Ensure accurate packing to minimise damage and spoilage
Support dispatch and loading of delivery vehicles
Logistics & Delivery SupportAccurately pick products for wholesale, internal and web store orders
Assist with loading and unloading of freight for internal deliveries and external logistics partners
Deliver product to customer within local area
Support coordination with third-party logistics suppliers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
Verify documentation for freight, including bills of lading and delivery notes
Health & SafetyFollow all health and safety procedures, including safe handling of kegs, packaging, and warehouse equipment
Update maintenance records for all warehouse equipment
Maintain high standards of hygiene and workplace cleanliness
Report hazards, incidents, or operational issues to the Operations Manager immediately
General DutiesSupport daily operational tasks as required by the Operations Manager
Maintain meticulous records of tasks, deliveries, and stock movements
Assist with process improvement initiatives and provide feedback on workflow efficiencies
Required Skills & AttributesFull NZ Driver’s Licence with F Endorsement
Legal right to work in NZ
Physically fit and able to safely lift and move heavy items
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Responsible relationship with alcohol
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Accurate numeracy and literacy skills for documentation and reporting
Willingness to learn warehouse systems, inventory management software, and logistics processes
Location: 37 Industrial Place, QueenstownWork pattern: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week
Pay range: $50k to $60k pa depending on experience
