Field Technician

The role will include carrying out high-voltage testing & calibration work in accordance with approved data, customer requirements, and company procedures.

We support the Calibration needs of our customers on-site and in the Head office (East Tamaki, Auckland) and across NZ with our fully equipped mobile testing.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who can work as part of a small, highly productive team. Quality-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, and someone who proactively ensures that a Safety and Compliance Culture is always in place.

The nature of the work requires regular travelling to customers throughout the New Zealand. There is an overnight allowance and a monthly bonus reward system in place for exceeding targets.

Successful and experienced candidates will be able to start on a good per-hour rate.

As you progress through the disciplines and training, the P/H rate will increase with each competency.

Skills Required -
  • Strong, effective communication skills
  • Confident and professional in dealing with customers and able to see things from both angles.
  • Full Driver’s license (also be able to drive a manual vehicle)
  • Physically Fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting
  • Eager to learn and think outside the square box.
  • Level 5 Diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification with a strong electrical background.
