Cook - Part Time
Hours of work: Minimum 8 hours per fortnight, on Fridays. Additional shifts may be available for pickup.
About the Role: Lead the kitchen and deliver our nutritious meals programme to our residents. Provide nutritional, well- presented meals. Ensure correct food is supplied against special orders. Monitor food temperature, monitor portion control.Opportunity to pick up casual shifts as a Kitchen Assistant also.
NOTE: Radius Care cannot support visa changes/work visas for this role
Duties include:
- Ensure all infection control policies and procedures are followed
- Deal appropriately with telephone calls
- Maintain appropriate quality standards
- Refer maintenance requests to the catering manager
- Ensure storage areas are kept clean
